Drew Estate is proud to introduce a new addition to their renowned Undercrown line – “Undercrown Shade”. This exciting release features a Connecticut Shade wrapper, adding a new layer of complexity to the original San Andres-wrapped line.
The creation of “Undercrown Shade” marks a significant milestone for Drew Estate Master Blender Willy Herrera, as it is his first blend outside of the Herrera Estelí brand family. Working closely with the Undercrown roller team, Herrera has crafted a blend that showcases his expertise and passion for cigar blending.
The blend consists of an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, Sumatran binder, and premium Dominican Criollo 98 and Nicaraguan Criollo & Corojo fillers. This combination results in a medium-bodied smoke with velvety smooth flavors that can only be achieved with shade grown wrappers.
The “Undercrown Shade” line offers six vitolas, mirroring the size range of the beloved San Andres-wrapped core line. So whether you’re a fan of robust or milder cigars, there’s an option for everyone to enjoy.
